Today we went to perform at the Panmure Public Library.
First, we walked from Panmure Bridge to the library then got dressed in our kapa haka uniform and practised our moves and words for all the songs.
Secondly, when we were getting ready and practising our kapa haka teacher Mrs Pryde told us to get in line but we were confused then she moved us into a proper formation. When we got into our lines the library teacher informed us that the schools were ready.
Lastly, we snuck into our lines and lined up in front of the schools. We were all nervous but excited at the same time Chisa, one of our leaders for kapa haka sang then we followed along. Then we performed all the songs and until we got up to the haka we started the haka performance then when we were done everyone gave us a big clap.
When the audience that gave us a big clap I was releved and also happy because when I got in front of the schools I was nervous and when I was done I was happy.
